I’ve been using Care Pilot for several months now, and it has made a remarkable difference in my workflow. One of the standout features is its accuracy—codes are updated regularly, and the intelligent search function helps me find the right ICD-10, CPT, or HCPCS codes in seconds. The tool has improved the consistency of my documentation. I also appreciate the built-in guidance and suggestions, which help ensure compliance and streamline the entire coding process. It captures all the education I provide in room to my patients. I can print patient instructions right then and there to send them home with our discussion. It has seriously changed my life! The feeling of burnout has been vastly reduced. I am more present with both my patients and my family now. No more notes at home! It almost never makes a mistake and is super accurate on deciphering who is speaking in the room. I have used the ad hoc version for my care plan meetings in the swing bed. We typically have nursing, PT, OT, family and myself all in the room. It does a great job capturing the conversation we all have together. I also feel that it protects me legally as it documents all of the education I provide to patients, the return precautions/when to seek emergency care and reviewing medication side effects. I have always done these things, but was admittedly lazy about documenting it in detail. I have noticed that I am making more eye contact with patients as a result and I am starting to feel the joy in medicine once again.

To me, adding an AI scribe to my current workflow was a big deal. I needed to be sure that whatever I was adding would make my job easier, not harder. For weeks, I tested out various AI transcription services. I kept finding myself comparing the other systems to CarePilot. CarePilot has the deepest integration with Athena of all the programs I tested and they have clearly spent a lot of time optimizing their system for Athena. It shows. The transcription appears to be accurate and appropriate, and it all goes where it's supposed to go in the chart. The system is fast and is usually done before the patient is even out of the exam room. It also generates a very nice patient handout about the visit that I can then hand to the patient on their way out of the office. I have been very happy with my choice of CarePilot. Overall, CarePilot checks all the boxes I had on my list for an AI scribe, and I look forward to continuing to work with them.

As did many of the other reviewers, I tried quite a few other AI scribes - Suki, Sunoh, Freed, Heidi, Nabla among them. I found that CarePilot offered the absolute best combination of Athena integration with relevant, professional-sounding output, customizability, and ease of use of all. Plus, their customer support and technical support is outstanding. Some of the scribes (Suki, Nabla) offered comparable speech recognition and output, some were customizable, some were deeply integrated, most offered 24/7/365 support (Sunoh didn't) but only CarePilot was successful in offering everything in one package. Very happy with the product.

Carepilot has been exceptional and responsive to anything we need or request in our family practice. They are available almost instantaneuosly with help by chat if I run into an issue. Carepilot has saved myself and our other practitioners 10-15 hours per week from charting duties as the chart is 95% completed after the patient's office visit, and I just have to review and code. They even have coding suggestions and their documentation in the chart has increased our acuity levels. They keep improving and adding new features to reduce our work load. I have been able to add at least 5 extra patients per week to my schedule as I don't have to fight with the paperwork. The absolute best feature is the Patient Instructions feature. All of my patients, especially the elderly, do not have to take notes. If we talk about 5 or 6 topics, they are able to review everything we discussed in our office visit after they get home. This reduces patient mistakes and patient are suprised how comprehensive their instructions are. Carepilot helps with language issues in the office, and I have given these Patient Instructions in both French and Korean to help with patient compliance. It takes about 20 seconds to tranlate into another language. On top of all the above, Carepilot is the most cost effective AI solution out there. I reviewed 5-6 other companies before making the decision. We are highly pleased with what Carepilot has brought to our practice. You should try it out if your time and your bottom line are important to you and your practice.

These guys have made so many improvements in the AI documentation and continue add on new features. Joseph has been super helpful with our providers as we went through the trial period. I have been using CarePilot since December. I have found it to be an excellent tool for my house call practice. In this setting, AI-driven documentation can be especially challenging because of increased ambient noise, elderly patients with low volume speech, and one or more caregiver providing history. I used to complete a visit then make one of two choices: dictate now and be later and later, or hope I can remember all the details of a patient with 14 active problems. Now I am confident that CarePilot has captured and organized all the relevant information. I usually make a few edits, no more than a minute or two. I also commend the team behind it, who are constantly seeking out and using feedback for continuous quality improvement. They are always available for questions. I know that the program has saved me hours per day, and time translates to increased patient load/revenue or more free time--either one is a plus. I am certain that it has more than paid for itself by allowing me to see more patients with less stress.

I arrived at the end of my trial, and requested an additional week as i wanted to compare them side by side with their competitors (Suki in my situation). They extended my trial for another week which helped solidify CarePilot as the right choice for my clinic. The support staff is very responsive to clinician concerns and needs and there has been notable improvements even in the short time I've been using the system. I like that it allows me to use my iphone to capture the data during a visit ( better microphone) but then I can proofread and edit the encounters on my desktop before uploading directly to athena. My patients have been very accepting of the system running during their appointments and appreciate that I'm going above and beyond to provide accurate documentation. As a side benefit, the timer that is running at the bottom of the screen while capturing data helps when coding a visit based on time.
