background checks on in-home nurses
| as i think about in-home nursing care for my mother, how do i get comfortable that appropriate background checks are done on the nurses? when my father was being taken care of, the quality of the nurses varied widely. thx |

Quality of care and background checks are very different. The quality is something I have found this web site to be a good resource for as one looks at the data they have on specific agencies. Another good guide is word of mouth info. Post a question about a specific agency and see if others are familiar for it. As for background checks, each agency is a little different in their approach to this. You can always look up individual licensed practitioners ( MDs RNs LPNs RT OT etc...)on their respective states board web site. |
