Where to begin
| I am just beginning the process of looking for a home health care agency for my parents, where do I begin? What should I consider first? |

To begin with, it is important to have a firm understanding of the kind of care your loved one needs. The best place to get this information is from the primary care physician or, in some cases, the hospital discharge planner or social worker. With this information in hand, CarePilot is as good a place as any to begin your research. In addition to CarePilot, we encourage you to speak with your doctor, hospital discharge planner, or social worker, as well as with friends and colleagues about their home health care experiences. Keep in mind that just because a phyician suggests a particular home health agency that does not mean that you HAVE to use that particular agency. You are free to choose providers. |
