Prior to founding CarePilot, David was part of the founding team at Acurian, a leading provider of online medical information and services for consumers, medical professionals, and the life sciences industry. David began his career as a research analyst with Jupiter Research, a leading business and technology market research firm. As the principle analyst and founding member of Jupiter's Health practice, David analyzed emerging consumer health trends on the Internet & provided strategic advice to the first-generation of Internet-based, consumer health companies.

David holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
